Triangular systems: A global extension of the coron-praly theorem on the existence of feedback-integrator stabilisers (EN)

Tsinias, J (EN)

We prove that under certain general algebraic conditions a triangular system, although in general fails to be stabilisable by ordinary static feedback, it can be globally stabilised at its equilibrium by means of a feedback integrator whose dynamics are continuous on the whole state space. The corresponding result extends the well-known theorem due to Coron and Praly concerning the local feedback stabilisation problem for the triangular case and generalises recent results of the author dealing with the same problem for triangular systems whose the linearisation at the origin is controllable.
