Το πρώτο είναι το κρεματόριο στην Kakamigahara της Ιαπωνίας (Toyo Ito, 2006), το δεύτερο είναι το κοθκλοθέατρο Puppet Theater στο Carpenter Centre for the Visual Arts (MOS Architects, 2004) και το τελευταίο έργο που θα εξετάσουμε είναι το συνεδριακό κέντρο του πανεπιστημίου στη Doha (Arata Isozaki, 2008). The main aim of the present lecture is the geometric analysis and the approximation of the manufacturing process of areas and volumes with complex curvature. The modern architectural buildings that bear such geometries are usually characterized as "parametric constructions", since the software - used to display the advanced options of the architect- hands as core the lasting change in the parameters of the curved lines of the produced compound curved surfaces and tumors. The great development of "parametric" architectural structures found in the last 4-5 decades and draws heavily on the development of IT and Hardware. Starting from the historical zero point of these types we will try to make a very brief review of the most basic and characteristic forms until about 1950 and then look at the modern methods of design and construction. Typical station is the mathematical modeling of curved lines and surfaces by the automotive engineers of the French P. De Casteljau (automotive mechanic Citroën) and P. Bézier (automotive mechanic Renault) described in detail in Chapter 3 Under the above theoretical background then we exemine of both the architectural design and the construction method three very iconic works of the last decade. The first is the crematorium in Kakamigahara Japan (Toyo Ito, 2006), the second is the Puppet Theater at Carpenter Centre for the Visual Arts (MOS Architects, 2004) and the last project that will look at is the conference center of the University in Doha (Arata Isozaki, 2008).
