Η συγκεκριμένη μελέτη έχει ως στόχο τη διερεύνηση: α) των συνηθειών και των προτιμήσεων που έχουν τα παιδιά για τις τηλεοπτικές ειδήσεις, β) των αντιλήψεων των παιδιών για τον πολίτη και τα κοινωνικο-πολιτικά δρώμενα, έτσι όπως παρουσιάζονται μέσα από τις τηλεοπτικές ειδήσεις και γ) την επίδραση του παράγοντα φύλο στη διαμόρφωση των απόψεων και των αντιλήψεων των παιδιών σχολικής ηλικίας για τον πολίτη και την κοινωνία, έτσι όπως παρουσιάζονται στις τηλεοπτικές ειδήσεις. Η παρούσα εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο μέρη. Στο β΄ μέρος αναπτύσσονται αρχικά οι στόχοι και τα επιμέρους ερωτήματα της παρούσας μελέτης και περιγράφεται αναλυτικά η μεθοδολογία της έρευνας. Παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας, σύμφωνα με τα οποία τα παιδιά φαίνεται να παρακολουθούν καθημερινά τηλεόραση και ειδήσεις σε καθημερινή βάση. Επίσης θεωρούν ότι η ενημέρωση από τις ειδήσεις είναι σημαντική κυρίως για λόγους πληροφόρησης και προφύλαξης από επικίνδυνες καταστάσεις. Τέλος φάνηκε ότι τα παιδιά αποκομίζουν από τις ειδήσεις μια αρνητική εικόνα για τον πολίτη και την κοινωνία, χωρίς να υπάρχουν σημαντικές διαφορές στις αντιλήψεις ανάμεσα στα δύο φύλα. (EL)
This study aims to explore the relationship between children and television news. Specifically, it aims at exploring: a) children’s habits and preferences about television news and b)children’s views on society and the role of the citizen, as they are presented through television news.The sample consisted of 59 children, who attended the sixth grade, in four elementary schools in the area of Evros. A questionnaire of 27 questions, which was used for the selection of data, examines: a)children’s habits and preferences, concerning television and television news, b)children’s perceptions of television news and c) children’s views on society and the role of the citizen, as they are presented through television news. According to the results of the study, children watch the news almost at a regular basis. Furthermore, they claim that being informed through television news is important, because they learn ways to protect themselves against dangerous situations. Finally it seems that children derive through the news a negative image of both the citizen and the society, claiming that the citizens often commit crimes and break the law. (EN)
