Το πρόβλημα της χωροθέτησης και κατανομής βιομηχανικών μονάδων, ιδίως στο χώρο της δομικής βιομηχανίας, όπου το κόστος της μεταφοράς των προϊόντων επηρεάζει σε σημαντικό βαθμό το συνολικό κόστος τους αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό μέρος του στρατηγικού προγραμματισμού στο χώρο των επιχειρήσεων του κατασκευαστικού τομέα. Η χωροθέτηση των βιομηχανικών μονάδων και η κατανομή της ζήτησης σε αυτές είναι περίπλοκη. Η ύπαρξη ενός υποστηρικτικού εργαλείου στη λήψη των αποφάσεων γι’ αυτό το πρόβλημα αποτελεί το ζητούμενο. Η χρήση λογισμικού διαφόρων προτύπων που έχουν εμφανιστεί τα τελευταία χρόνια, σε μια προσπάθεια να βρεθεί λύση στο πρόβλημα, εισάγουν περιορισμούς και παράγοντες που απομακρύνουν το πρόβλημα από τις φυσικές του διαστάσεις. Η παραγωγή με υπερωριακή απασχόληση στον τομέα των δομικών έργων είναι συνηθισμένη και μάλλον επιβεβλημένη για την εγκατάσταση μονάδων με τη μικρότερη δυνατή δυναμικότητα. Στην παρούσα διατριβή κατεβλήθη προσπάθεια για τη βέλτιστη επίλυση του προβλήματος κάνοντας χρήση αυτής της δυνατότητας. Έμφαση δόθηκε επίσης στη βέλτιστη εκμετάλλευση και κατανομή των πόρων των πρώτων υλών.
The facility location-allocation problem, especially the one which covers the sector of heavy structure industry, where the transportation cost of products influences the total cost to a significant degree, constitutes an important part of strategic planning in the field of the constructions industrial units location/allocation is rather a complex problem. Existence of a supporting tool in the decision making for the above mentioned problem constitutes an inquiry. The use of software that has been presented over the last few years, gives a solution to the problem, but they introduce restrictions and factors that remove the problem from its natural and real dimensions. The production in the sector of structural projects is usual with overtime employment and rather imposed for the installation of units with smaller possible regular capacity. In this present work an overwhelming effort was made for the most optimal solution for the problem making use of this ability. An emphasis also was put on the most optimal exploitation and distribution of resources of raw materials.
