The aim of this thesis is the presentation of the SOS Children's Villages of Greece, as an alternative child protection program. It's alternativity is based on both the structure of the organization as well as the pedagogical approach. The hypothesis of this thesis is that the operation of an alternative type of assistance based on the family care model and opposing the existing outdated state welfare system, can work preventively in the appearance of antisocial behaviour.
Ο στόχος της παρούσας διατριβής είναι η παρουσίαση των Παιδικών Χωριών SO.S. Ελλάδος, ως ένα εναλλακτικό πρόγραμμα παιδικής προστασίας τόσο αναφορικά με τη δομή της οργάνωσής του όσο και με την παιδαγωγική του προσέγγιση. Υπόθεση εργασίας της παρούσας διδακτορικής διατριβής είναι πως η λειτουργία ενός εναλλακτικού τύπου παρέμβασης βασισμένο στο οικογενειακό πρότυπο φροντίδας και αντιτιθέμενο στην υπάρχουσα απαρχαιωμένη κρατική πρόνοια, μπορεί να λειτουργήσει προληπτικά στην εμφάνιση αντικοινωνικών συμπεριφορών.
