The thesis examines the problem of comparative evaluation of competitive institutional arrangements in light of the foundational anthropologic and epistemic assumption of Friedrich Hayek's thought as well as the intellectual tradition of classical liberalism which he is a part of, about the constitutional limitations of human knowledge.Against this backdrop, the thesis examines the compatibilty of these assumptions with the possibility of articulating positive policy proposals and demonstrates the scope and the content thereof.
Στο πλαίσιο της διατριβής εξετάζεται το πρόβλημα της συγκριτικής αποτίμησης ανταγωνιστικών θεσμικών διαρρυθμίσεων υπό το πρίσμα της αφετηριακής, για την σκέψη του Φρίντριχ Χάγιεκ και το κλασικά φιλελεύθερο διανοητικό ρεύμα στο οποίο ανήκει, ανθρωπολογικής και γνωσιολογικής παραδοχής περί των καταστατικών περιορισμών της ανθρώπινης γνώσης.Συγκεκριμένα εξετάζονται οι προϋποθέσεις συμβατότητας των παραδοχών αυτών με τη δυνατότητα διατύπωσης θετικών πολιτικών προτάσεων και καταδεικνύεται το εύρος και το περιεχόμενο των τελευταίων.
