Στο πλαίσιο της παρούσας διατριβής θα επιχειρήσουμε να μελετήσουμε τη νοηματοδότηση που προσδίδουν στο Μονοπώλιο της Βίας του ελληνικού κράτους τόσο οι κύριες πολιτικές δυνάμεις του τόπου όσο και φορείς της κοινωνίας των πολιτών που εκπροσωπούν κοινωνικά δίκτυα, εστιάζοντας στη δράση και λειτουργία του κατεξοχήν κατασταλτικού μηχανισμού, που είναι η Ελληνική Αστυνομία. Στόχος αυτής της μελέτης είναι να αναδειχθούν τα πολιτισμικά πρότυπα που επικρατούν στην ελληνική κοινωνία και προδιαθέτουν σε κοινωνικές δράσεις αμφισβήτησης ή/και απόρριψης του κρατικού μονοπωλίου εφαρμογής της έννομης τάξης και διαφύλαξης της δημόσιας ασφάλειας.
In the context of the present thesis, we will attempt to review the meaning of the Monopoly of Violence in Greece as perceived by the main political parties and of Civil Society, with a focus on the action and operation of the predominant repressive apparatus, the Greek Police. The study aims to highlight the cultural patterns prevailing in the Greek society that predispose to social actions of contestation and / or rejection of the state's monopoly on the implementation of law and public safety safeguarding.
