Η παρούσα εργασία έχει ως στόχο να επεκτείνει και να συνεχίσει τη συζήτηση σχετικά με τις νέες μεσαίες τάξεις στην ταξική δομή των σύγχρονων καπιταλιστικών κοινωνικών σχηματισμών. Με σημείο αφετηρίας το έργο του E.O.Wright, αναδεικνύονται οι διαφορετικές προσεγγίσεις εννοιολόγησης της ταξικής δομής και οι απολήξεις τους σχετικά με τους όρους συγκρότησης του κοινωνικού υποκειμένου μετασχηματισμού των παραγωγικών σχέσεων και της εργασίας. Η ανάλυση βασίζεται αρχικά στην έννοια των αντιφατικών ταξικών θέσεων και κατόπιν στην έννοια της νέας μεσαίας τάξης ως αποτέλεσμα διασταυρούμενων εκμεταλλευτικών σχέσεων. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό εξετάζονται κριτικά οι έννοιες της εκμετάλλευσης με βάση την εργασιακή θεωρία της αξίας K.Marx καθώς και η έννοια της εκμετάλλευσης στη βάση των ιδιοκτησιακών πόρων του J.Roemer.
This thesis aims to extend and continue the debate on the emergence of the new middle classes of contemporary capitalist social formations. Using the seminal work of E.O.Wright, we present and criticise various conceptual approaches of the class structure and their conclusions regarding the subjects of social transformation of productive relations and labour. The analysis is primarily based on the concept of contradictory class positions and subsequently on the concept of the new middle class as a result of intersecting exploitation relations. In this context the concepts of exploitation are critically examined on the basis of K.Marx’s labor theory of value and the concept of exploitation on the basis of J. Roemer's unequal distribution of property rights in productive assets.
