Αντικείμενο της έρευνας είναι η Διδακτική της Λογοτεχνίας μέσα από τη διδακτική πρακτική των εκπαιδευτικών και, ειδικότερα, η κριτική διερεύνηση της διδασκαλίας των ανθρωπίνων αξιών μέσω του μαθήματος της Νεοελληνικής Λογοτεχνίας στο Γυμνάσιο. Το θεωρητικό μέρος αναφέρεται σε μια σύντομη επισκόπηση της φιλοσοφικής και ψυχολογικής σημασίας των αξιών, ενώ η μεταμοντέρνα κριτική εκπαιδευτική σκέψη χρησιμοποιείται για να δώσει ερμηνευτική κατεύθυνση και νόημα στην ηθική εκπαίδευση ως εκπαιδευτική επιδίωξη. Η έρευνα πεδίου, η οποία διήρκεσε ένα σχολικό έτος σε δύο τμήματα της πρώτης τάξης, υιοθέτησε α) τη συμμετοχική παρατήρηση και την εθνογραφική περιγραφή των μαθημάτων διδασκαλίας ως βάση για την ανάλυση των διδακτικών πρακτικών και β) την έρευνα δράσης ως συνεργατική διδακτική παρέμβαση σε μια προσπάθεια να δοκιμαστούν και να εκτιμηθούν πρακτικές διδασκαλίας με επίκεντρο τους μαθητές οι οποίες αναμένεται να ευνοούν τη διδασκαλία των ανθρωπίνων αξιών. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε στις μεθόδους διδασκαλίας και στην αναστοχαστική διαδικασία του εκπαιδευτικού. Η διδακτική πρακτική επιδιώκει να διαχειριστεί κριτικά τις αξίες του περιεχομένου των λογοτεχνικών κειμένων και να τονίσει την ηθική και χειραφετική τους δύναμη. Η ανάλυση επικεντρώνεται στην κατανόηση της βαθιάς επίδρασης του Προγράμματος Σπουδών και του «κρυμμένου» Προγράμματος Σπουδών στη διαμόρφωση των σχολικών πρακτικών και του σχολικού ήθους, καθώς και στην κατανόηση της αναστοχαστικής διαδικασίας των εκπαιδευτικών η οποία αποτελεί την καρδιά της διδασκαλίας των αξιών.
The object of the research is the Teaching of Literature, the teaching practice of teachers and, in particular, the critical investigation of the teaching of human values in the course of Modern Greek Literature in Secondary School (Gymnasium). The theoretical part refers to a brief overview of the philosophical and psychological significance of values, while postmodern critical educational thinking has been used to give interpretive direction and meaning to moral education as an educational pursuit. Field research, which lasted one school year in two classes of the first year, adopted (a) participatory observation and ethnographic description of teaching courses as a basis for the analysis of teaching practices and (b) action research as a collaborative teaching intervention in an attempt to test and evaluate student - centered teaching practices that are expected to favour the teaching of human values. Special emphasis was given to the teaching methods and the reflexive process of the teacher. The didactic practice seeks to critically manage the human values of the content of literary texts and to emphasize their moral and emancipatory power. The analysis focuses on the one hand on understanding the profound impact of the curriculum and the "hidden" curriculum on the formation of teaching practices and school ethics as well as on understanding the reflective process of teachers which lies in the heart of the teaching of values.
