Αντικείμενο αυτής της διατριβής αποτελεί η κριτική έκδοση του αφιερωμένου λόγου του Θεοδώρου Στουδίτη στον θείο και πνευματικό του πατέρα, Πλάτωνα Σακκουδίου, με ιστορικό πλαίσιο την περίοδο του μοιχικού σχίσματος και της Εικονομαχίας. Η έκδοση βασίζεται σε όλους τους γνωστούς μάρτυρες της χειρόγραφης παράδοσης του κειμένου (Patmiacus 254, Parisinus gr. 1197, Barberinianus gr. 533, Vaticanus gr. 1890, Vaticanus gr. 1660). Επιπρόσθετα διερευνάται η γλώσσα και το ύφος του κειμένου, το λογοτεχνικό είδος και η συμβολή του στη διαμόρφωση της πολύπτυχης αγιολογικής βιογραφίας της μέσης βυζαντινής περιόδου. Στον σχολιασμό διευκρινίζονται προσωπογραφικά στοιχεία, καθορίζονται γεωγραφικά τα αναφερόμενα τοπωνύμια, αποσαφηνίζονται ή ερμηνεύονται ποικίλα στοιχεία και πληροφορίες του κειμένου. Τέλος, εκτός από τους πίνακες αξιομνημόνευτων λέξεων και κυρίων ονομάτων, παρατίθενται index Graecitatis και index troporum et figurarum.
The object of this thesis is the critical edition of Theodoros Stoudite dedicated speech to his uncle and spiritual father, Plato of Sakkoudios, within its historical context (the period of the adulterous schism and the Iconoclasm).The edition is based on all known witnesses to the handwritten tradition of the text (Patmiacus 254, Parisinus gr. 1197, Barberinianus gr. 533, Vaticanus gr. 1890,Vaticanus gr. 1660). In addition, the language of the text and its stylistic level, the literary genre and its contribution to the formation of the multifaceted hagiological biography of the middle Byzantine age are investigated. In the commentary, personal details are clarified, the mentioned toponyms are defined geographically, various elements and information of the text are clarified or interpreted. Finally, in addition to the tables of memorable words and main names, index Graecitatis and index troporum et figurarum are listed.
L'objet de cette thèse est l'édition critique du discours dédié de Theodoros Stoudite à son oncle et père spirituel, Platon de Sakkoudion, dans le contexte historique de la période du schisme adultère et de l'iconoclasme. L'édition est basée sur tous les témoins connus de la tradition manuscrite du texte (Patmiacus 254, Parisinus gr. 1197, Barberinianus gr. 533, Vaticanus gr. 1890, Vaticanus gr. 1660).En outre, la langue et le style du texte, le genre littéraire et sa contribution à la formation de la biographie hagiologique à multiples facettes de la période byzantine moyenne sont étudiés. Dans le commentaire, les données personnelles sont précisées, les toponymes mentionnés sont définis géographiquement, divers éléments et informations du texte sont précisés ou interprétés. Enfin, outre les tableaux des mots mémorisables et des noms principaux, l'index Graecitatis et l'index troporum et figurarum sont répertoriés .
