Η Διατριβή εξετάζει την επίδραση το Ανθρωπίνου Κεφαλαίου στις Άμεσες Ξένες Επενδύσεις. Χρησιμοποιεί μεταβλητές της εκπαίδευσης καθώς επίσης και μακροοικονομικές μεταβλητές σε Οικονομετρικό Υπόδειγμα. Επίσης, εξετάζει την επίδραση που φέρουν τα δύο φύλα, δηλ. γυναικών και ανδρών. Χρησιμοποιεί ως δεδομένα αναπτυγμένες οικονομίες οι οποίες εντάσσονται στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και τον Οργανισμό Οικονομικής Συνεργασίας και Ανάπτυξης από το 1960 έως το 2010.
This study emphasizes the impact of human capital on Foreign Direct Investments. It employs a series of education variables as well as macroeconomic variables in an Econometric Model. Also, it distinguishes the impact among genders, namely females and males. It uses a dataset that contains developed economies belonging to the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development from 1960 to 2010.
