This paper is aiming to connect strategic techniques with macroeconomic conditions in the area of Balkans. The first chapters are explaining the steps that are needed to be taken by a firm in order to ensure the success of the investment, the strategic management theories, and the importance of forecasting tools. The second part is explaining the economic conditions that exist in the widen area, emphasizing in the economies of Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, FYROM and Bulgaria.
