The basic aim of the thesis is to explore the relationship between total quality management (TQM) and human resources utilization in Greek industry. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is the bibliography review, in the second part the author sets the theoretical bases for a model of TQM analyse theoretically the main research hypothesis. In the third part, the methodology used has been supported, the conclusions and theoretical dilemmas and challenges. The basic conclusions of the thesis are: initial approach to quality is related to human resource utilization, the way quality introduced and the circumstances of the organizational environment affect the degree, the content and the nature of the above relationship, quality improvement efforts are not closely related to communications systems.
