Technical Dept estimation can be achieved by using special tools, that detect bad pro-gramming practices in code, called code smells. The tools, though, use different ways in detecting the smells making the process subjective and the results dependable on which detector is used. Studies, in order to fix this and get more certain results, com-bine multiple detectors. The present work adopts this idea and attempts to investigate the agreement between the four smell detectors Organic, PMD, CheckStyle and DuDe and the correlations of these tools with certain software metrics. In order to do that a tool was developed using the Java Programming Language that combines these detec-tors.
After an analysis of the topic and a reference to previous research, a description of the code and how it works is given. Then a case study is made on the results of the detec-tion process and the conclusions that can be extracted from them.
