Η συγκεκριμένη διατριβή εστιάζει στη μελέτη σε βάθος των δεδομένων του COVID-19, στην ανάλυση τους και στην εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων για το τι συμβαίνει και τις επιπτώσεις του ιού στην Ελλάδα. Επιπλέον, στόχος ήταν να δημιουργηθεί ένα χωρο-χρονικό μοντέλο που θα εξηγεί την εξάπλωση του ιού στην Ελλάδα. Το μοντέλο έλαβαν υπόψη τον αριθμό των περιπτώσεων σε μια περιοχή σε μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική περίοδο, τον αριθμό των περιπτώσεων σε μια γειτονική περιοχή σε μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική περίοδο και την επίδραση του lockdown.

That dissertation focuses on study in depth the COVID-19 data, to analyse them and to draw conclusions about what is happening and what are the effects of the virus in Greece. Moreover the goal was to create a spatio-temporal model that will explain the spread of the vurius in Greece. That models considered the number of cases in a region in a specific period of time, the number of cases in a neighbor region in a specific period of time and the lockdown effect.
