This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in E-Business & Digital Marketing at the International Hellenic University. The outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in March 2019 brought the need for digitalization. The emergence of digital transformation accelerated COVID-19 and led many stakeholders to take action to monitor and address the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as assess the risk to Europe. The first part of this paper provides a literature review on digitalization, COVID-19, and its stakeholders in Europe, and in its second part a Search Engine Optimization overview analysis on those recognized stakeholders. In the third part the results are provided, where we discuss who those stakeholders are, what their role is in assessing the pandemic, what policies are taken, and finally what is the impact and the future purpose of these actions.
