The authors after examining the subjects of Meat Technology rewiew the existing Meat Research Institutions in Gieece and abroad. They refer to reasons for founding a Meat Research Institute in Greece, and finalb suggest the establishement of such an Institution in Athens or Salonica, functionning as an autonomous organisation under Government supervision. For this, data on the organisation, personell, establishement expences and annual budget are given. (EN)
