Although scholars and researchers have not reached certain conclusions, regarding the person who wrote the liturgical text, that is claimed to be written by the Saint Gregory the Theologian, the unique characteristics that the specific text contains, make it an attractive research and study area, especially regarding its context. The main aim and objective of this desperation is to provide a historical and theological review of the anaphora part of the liturgy. In an attempt to help the understanding of the reader, the dissertation contains a parathesis of the historical and the theological background of the period, as well as, aspects of the biography and the broader contribution of the Saint Gregory the Theologian, who is assumed to be the writer of the specific holy liturgy.
Παρά το ότι, η επιστημονική κοινότητα δεν έχει καταλήξει σε ασφαλές συμπέρασμα, όσον αφορά την πατρότητα του κειμένου της Θείας Λειτουργίας, που αποδίδεται στον Άγιο Γρηγόριο τον Θεολόγο, τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά που αυτό παρουσιάζει, το καθιστούν αντικείμενο έρευνας και μελέτης, ως προς το περιεχόμενό του. Η παρούσα εργασία, αποπειράται μία ιστορική και θεολογική θεώρηση της ευχής της αναφοράς της συγκεκριμένης Θ. Λειτουργίας. Παράλληλα, με στόχο την υποβοήθηση του αναγνώστη, εμπεριέχει παράθεση του ιστορικού και θεολογικού πλαισίου της εποχής, καθώς επίσης και στοιχεία του βίου και του συγγραφικού έργου του, φερόμενου ως συγγραφέα, Αγίου Γρηγορίου του Θεολόγου.
