The aim of this thesis is to present the main regulations of the current financial system and emphasize the inefficient of them, through the study of important credit crisis experienced by mankind. Additionally, the dissertation considers the proposal, made by Thomas Palley, about reorganizing the global financial system, known as "AssetBased Reserve Requirements". A detailed description of the model is available, with proposals implementing, presents the advantages of, and of course the various concerns raised. (EN)
