Οι υγειονομικές ανισότητες που διακρίνονται σε ανισότητες στην υγεία και στην παροχή φροντίδας απορρέουν από τη διαφοροποίηση των πολιτών ανάλογα με τα κοινωνικοοικονομικά χαρακτηριστικά τους. Η Ελλάδα κατατάσσεται στις χώρες με υψηλό βαθμό υγειονομικών ανισοτήτων. Η παρούσα ερευνητική μελέτη στοχεύει στη διερεύνηση των ανισοτήτων υγείας γενικότερα και πιο ειδικά στη μελέτη της περίπτωσης της Ελλάδας. Η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε περιλάμβανε την αναζήτηση σύγχρονης διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας που συλλέχτηκε από τις ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις Pubmed και Google Scholar, ενώ αποκλείστηκαν μελέτες εκτός της Αγγλικής και Ελληνικής γλώσσας. Από την ενδελεχή ανασκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας, κατέστη ξεκάθαρο ότι η υγειονομική περίθαλψη επιβάλλεται να είναι καθολική με επίκεντρο τον άνθρωπο και τις υγειονομικές του ανάγκες. (EL)
Health inequalities, which can be categorized into inequalities in health and in the provision of care, arise from the differentiation of citizens based on their socioeconomic characteristics. Greece is classified as a country with a high degree of health inequalities. This research study aims to investigate health inequalities in general, with a particular focus on the case of Greece. The methodology involved a search for contemporary international literature collected from electronic databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar, excluding studies in languages other than English or Greek. A thorough review of the literature highlighted the necessity of universal health care that prioritizes the individual and their health needs. (EN)
