This dissertation was written as part of the MA in Art, Law and Economy at the International Hellenic University. The purpose of this dissertation is to present in its entirety the New Acropolis Museum, where we are safeguarding our most precious ancient cultural heritage, and the impact of its operation to the national and the international society. Through this presentation, I highlight the features of the museum’s strategy and management, and as well as their effect on the audience response. Also I will explain why this museum is a unique management model for every museum institution. I will show how the New Acropolis Museum succeeds in its aim. Specifically, at providing the visitors with a comprehensive picture of the human presence on the Acropolis, from the pre-historic times through late Antiquity, with the advantage of being built on the slope of the Acropolis itself. In addition, I present the legal aspects of the New Acropolis Museum, concerning the issue of Parthenon marbles which are in British Museum and which should be returned to our country.
