The equivalence of the natural interpolation formulae for the approximation to the solutions of Cauchy type singular integral equations of the first kind, after their reduction to equivalent Fredholm integral equations (by two different regularization procedures) and the numerical solutions of the latter by the quadrature (Nyström) method, is proved under appropriate, but reasonable, conditions. Υπό κατάλληλες, αλλά λογικές, συνθήκες αποδεικνύεται η ισοδυναμία των τύπων φυσικής παρεμβολής για την προσέγγιση των λύσεων ιδιόμορφων ολοκληρωτικών εξισώσεων τύπου Cauchy πρώτου είδους μετά την αναγωγή τους σε ισοδύναμες ολοκληρωτικές εξισώσεις Fredholm (με δύο διαφορετικές διαδικασίες ομαλοποιήσεως) και τις αριθμητικές επιλύσεις των τελευταίων με τη μέθοδο της αριθμητικής ολοκληρώσεως (μέθοδο του Nyström).
