This study presents the functional role of the theriomorphic choruses on the plays of ancient attic comedy. It studies the similarities or equivalences with the depictions of theriomorphic choruses of the ancient greek vessels and the influence of these depictions on the stage appearance of the theriomorphic choruses of the attic comedy.

Η παρούσα εργασία μελετά την παρουσία και τον λειτουργικό ρόλο των θηριομορφικών Χορών στα έργα της Αρχαίας Αττικής Κωμωδίας. Παρουσιάζονται οι ομοιότητες ή αντιστοιχίες με τις απεικονίσεις των θηριομορφικών Χορών στα αρχαία ελληνικά αγγεία και διερευνάται η επίδραση αυτών των απεικονίσεων στη λειτουργία και τη σκηνική εμφάνιση των θηριομορφικών Χορών των κωμικών δραμάτων.
