Η παρούσα εργασία στοχεύει στη μελέτη της κοινωνιστικής πεζογραφίας, όπως διαμορφώθηκε κατά την πρώτη δεκαετία του μεσοπολέμου. Ειδικότερα εξετάζει τη μεταγραφή του όρου κοινωνισμός στη λογοτεχνία εστιάζοντας στη διηγηματογραφία τριών σημαντικών πεζογράφων της γενιάς του '20, των Δημοσθένη Βουτυρά (1872-1958), Κώστα Παρορίτη (1878-1931) και Πέτρου Πικρού (1895-1956). Μέσα από τη συστηματική προσέγγιση της θεματολογίας των διηγημάτων τους έγινε προσπάθεια να αναδειχθούν και να εξεταστούν τα βασικά θέματα της κοινωνιστικής πεζογραφίας.

This assignment examines socialist prose as it was shaped during the first decade of the midwar era. In more detail, it examines the tranfer of the term socialism in litterature, focusing on the short stories of three eminent prose writers of the 20's, Demosthenes Voutyras (1872-1958), Costas Paroritis (1878-1931) and Petros Pikros (1895-1956). Through the systematic approach to the themes of their short stories, an attempt was made to highlight and examine the basic themes of socialist prose.
