The variations with x of the frequencies of the two lowest Raman modes of A(g)(A(1g)) symmetry in superconducting NdBa2-xSrxCu3O7-delta (delta approximate to 0; 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 1.1) give evidence for a strong mode mixing, resulting in renormalization of the phonon frequencies at higher x.
