Ο σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι αφενός να αναπτύξει όλη εκείνη την απαραίτητη θεωρία και μεθοδολογία για την παραγωγή ορθοφωτοχαρτών απο δορυφορικές εικόνες SPOT και αφετέρου να αξιολογήσει τεχνικό-οικονομικά την παραπάνω μεθοδολογία, στο πλαίσιο εφαρμογής της απο μια Δημόσια Χαρτογραφική Υπηρεσία.
