Description

Αντικείμενο της εργασίας αποτέλεσε η εκτίμηση της οικονομικής αξίας των υπογείων νερών της λεκάνης του Ασωπού ποταμού, με την εφαρμογή της Μεθόδου Υποθετικής Αξιολόγησης. Η περιοχή μελέτης επιλέχθηκε λόγω των προβλημάτων που αντιμετωπίζει από τη ρύπανση των επιφανειακών και υπόγειων νερών της, σε μια προσπάθεια ανάδειξης της οικονομικής διάστασης του προβλήματος. Σημειώνεται ότι είναι η πρώτη ερευνητική προσπάθεια στον Ελλαδικό χώρο και από τις λίγες διεθνώς, στην οποία επιχειρείται η αποτίμηση της οικονομικής ζημιάς της ρύπανσης ενός υπόγειου υδροφόρου ορίζοντα. Η χρηματική αποτίμηση της αξίας των υπόγειων νερών στηρίχθηκε στην προθυμία των νοικοκυριών της περιοχής της λεκάνης του Ασωπού ποταμού να συνεισφέρουν μια εθελοντική εισφορά για τη δημιουργία ενός ανεξάρτητου μη κυβερνητικού φορέα, ο οποίος θα έχει ως αντικείμενο το σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση δράσεων αποκατάστασης των ρυπασμένων υπογείων νερών, σε ένα χρονικό ορίζοντα 10 ετών. Για τις ανάγκες τις εργασίας πραγματοποιήθηκε πρωτογενής έρευνα με ερωτηματολόγια, τα οποία συμπληρώθηκαν με προσωπική συνέντευξη, στην ευρύτερη περιοχή του Κάτω Ρου του ποταμού Ασωπού (Οινόφυτα - Ωρωπός - Δήλεσι). Object of this work constituted the estimate of economic value of underground water of the basin of Asopos river, with the application of Method of Hypothetical Evaluation. The region of study was selected because the problems that it faces from the pollution of its surface and underground water, trying to appoint the economic dimension of the problem. It is marked that it is the first inquiring effort in the Hellenic space and from the few internationally, in which is attempted the assessment of the economic damage of the pollution of the underground water wagon horizon. The pecuniary assessment of the value of the underground water was supported in the eagerness of households of the region of the basin of Asopos river to contribute a voluntary contribution for the creation of an independent and not governmental institution, which will have as object the planning and the concretisation of the action of re-establishment of the polluted underground waters, in a time horizon of 10 years. For the needs of the work was realised primary research with questionnaires, which were supplemented with personal interview, in the wider region Down Roy of Asopos River (Inofita - Oropos - Dilesi).
