Ανάλυση των τρόπων εκμετάλλευσης Χρυσού. Θέση του Χρυσού στη Οικονομία. Διερεύνηση του Κόστους παραγωγής Χρυσού. Στατιστική ανάλυση πραγματικών στοιχείων από τις 20 μεγαλύτερες εταιρίες παραγωγής χρυσού παγκοσμίως. (EL)
The present thesis consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 gives a brief presentation of the gold from the perspective of the simple reference of the main characteristics of this noble metal, its position in the periodic table of elements and some basic physical and chemical properties. Following is a historical overview to understand how useful and valuable metal is gold since antiquity. Analysis of the physical and chemical properties, on the mineralogy and alloying of gold. Finally there is a reference to the recycling of gold, which constantly acquire new investors and attracts more companies. Chapter 2 presents the diachronic contribution of gold in the global economy, the value of it as in vestment is examined and the various investment options available analyzed. Also a reference is made to the mining costs and the main producing countries. Lastly is a list with the largest gold mining companies in the world and the dominant producing count ries worldwide. Chapter 3 analyze in detail all the methods of underground exploitation of mineral deposits and consequently of gold. Presented classification according to German standards and English standards and these two systems compared. Chapter 4 whi ch is the main section of this thesis presents the results of research carried out in 20 of the largest production companies worldwide. There is statistical analysis of the results and comparative study, charts are made and conclusions are drawn, in an att empt to explain these results. At the last chapter are the overall conclusions of the literature and statistical research carried out in order to make an estimation of the value of gold in the global economy and its contribution to humanity.
