Αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι ο σχεδιασμός μιας καλωδιωτής πεζογέφυρας στον Πειραιά που θα συνδέει τη συνοικία της Μαρίνα Ζέας με την Πλατεία Αλεξάνδρας. Στόχος της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η ρεαλιστική προσομοίωση των προκλήσεων μιας ιδέας που βρίσκεται υπό μελέτη και θα αποτελέσει στοιχείο αρχιτεκτονικής αναφοράς για την περιοχή του Λιμένα Ζέας (Πασαλιμανίου) του Πειραιά και θα διευκολύνει τις μετακινήσεις των κατοίκων. Purpose of this thesis is the design and study of a cable-stayed footbridge in Piraeus , linking Alexandras Square to Marina Zea. The idea was based on a years-search for a solution by the Municipality of Piraeus to link the two neighborhoods, in order to facilitate the residents in the immediate transition from one point to another, bridging the water barrier separating them. The aim of this thesis is the realistic simulation of the challenges of an idea which is currently under study and will become a point of reference architecture for Piraeus. (EN)
