Each time includes its own social, economic, cultural elements, whether they have a positive impact or have a negative impact on its population. Through all these lessons, societies are called upon to process these elements and to decode them so that they can respond and deal with the crises that have an impact on their populations. In this paper we are invited to investigate the migration and refugee issue in relation to the actions of the European Union in order to normalize the challenges that arise through them. A subject which, although not new to our country, has been particularly important in recent years at both social and spatial level. Reported and analyzed European exchange and learning programmes promoting sustainable urban development, like Urbact, in Europe and particularly in Greek examples. (EN)
