Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως θέμα την μουσική ανάλυση 12 ρεμπέτικων κομματιών και συγκεκριμένα 12 συνθέσεων των μελών της λεγόμενης «τετράδος του Πειραιώς», ενός μουσικού σχήματος που καθιέρωσε το ύφος της κλασικής περιόδου του Ρεμπέτικου. Η μέθοδος ανάλυσης που χρησιμοποιήσαμε για το σκοπό αυτό είναι η γενετική θεωρία της τονικής μουσικής – Generative Theory of Tonal Music (GTTM) η οποία δημιουργήθηκε το 1983 μέσω της συνεργασίας του συνθέτη Fred Lerdahl και του γλωσσολόγου Ray Jackendoff. Ο βασικός στόχος της εργασίας είναι η μελέτη μέσω της γενετικής θεωρίας των εσωτερικών δομικών μουσικών χαρακτηριστικών των παραπάνω συνθέσεων. Συγκεκριμένα σκοπός της εργασίας είναι η ανάλυση και η περιγραφή των μορφολογικών χαρακτηριστικών , της μελωδικής συμπεριφοράς καθώς και της αρμονικής γλώσσας του μουσικού δείγματος των 12 συνθέσεων που έχουμε επιλέξει. Ένας ακόμα ερευνητικός στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η εξαγωγή μέσω της παραπάνω ανάλυσης διαφόρων συμπερασμάτων για το μουσικό ύφος των συγκεκριμένων μουσικών έργων μέσα από τη συγκριτική μελέτη τους καθώς και η μελέτη της τροπικής συμπεριφοράς που χαρακτηρίζει το μουσικό αυτό δείγμα. The present dissertation is focused on the musical analysis of 12 Rebetiko music pieces and specifically of 12 compositions by the members of the so-called "Quartet of Pireus - Tetras tou Pireos", a music group that established the style of the classical period of Rebetiko music. The method of analysis we used for this purpose is the " Generative Theory of Tonal Music (GTTM)" which was created in 1983 through the collaboration of composer Fred Lerdahl and linguist Ray Jackendoff. The main purpose of this dissertation is the study through the Generative Theory of Tonal Music of the internal structural musical characteristics of the above compositions. Specifically its purpose is the analysis and description of the morphological features , of melodic behavior as well as the harmonic language of the musical sample of 12 compositions we have chosen. Another research goal of the present dissertation is the extraction through the above analysis of various conclusions about the musical style of the specific musical works through their comparative study as well as the study of the tropical behavior that characterizes this musical sample.
