Αυτή η εργασία έχει σκοπό να εντοπίσει όσα μπορούμε να αποκομίσουμε για τις ζωές μας μέσω της γραφής για το θάνατο, όπως στην περίπτωση του Brás de Oliva Domingos,ενός νεαρού συγγραφέα νεκρολογιών ο οποίος βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπος με το θάνατο στο τέλος κάθε κεφαλαίου του Daytripper. Η έρευνά μου επικεντρώνεται, ακόμη, στην πολύπλοκη σχέση του πρωταγωνιστή με τον, επίσης συγγραφέα, πατέρα του και με την πληθώρα συναισθημάτων πένθους, απώλειας και θρήνου όταν επέρθει ο θάνατος του τελευταίου. This paper explores what we can learn about life through the art of writing about death by taking a closer look at Brás de Oliva Domingos' life, who is a young obituary writer that faces multiple death at the end of each chapter of Daytripper. My essay also delves into Brás' intricate relationship with his father, who is also an author, and navigates through Brás' feelings of grief, loss and mourning after his father has passed away. (EN)
