Tο αντικείμενο της διδακτορικής διατριβής είναι η διερεύνηση των πολιτικών και φιλοσοφικών ιδεών του αυτοκράτορα και λόγιου, Θεοδώρου Β΄ Λάσκαρη (1221-1258) μέσω της πραγματείας του «της φυσικής κοινωνίας λόγοι έξι» και των επιστολών που συνέγραψε και απευθύνονται τόσο προς τον δάσκαλό του Νικηφόρο Βλεμμύδη, όσο και σε άλλες σημαντικές προσωπικότητες της εποχής του. Βασιζόμενοι στις πρωτογενείς πηγές του έργου του, προσθέτουμε την δική μας ερμηνευτική προσέγγιση στις φιλοσοφικές αυτές ιδέες. Η πραγμάτευση μας, γίνεται κυρίως υπό το πρίσμα της ιστορίας των ιδεών και δευτερευόντως μόνο σε σχέση με την πολιτική θεωρία. (EL)
The main subject of this doctoral dissertation is the investigation of the political and philosophical ideas of the emperor and scholar Theodoros II Laskaris (1221-1258) through his treatise "Six Discourses on Natural Communion" and the letters he wrote and addressed to his teacher Nikiforos Blemmydis, as well as other important personalities of his time. Based on the primary sources of his work, we add our own interpretive approach to these philosophical ideas. Our treatment is mainly in the light of the history of ideas and secondarily only in relation to political theory. (EN)
