Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία ενδιατρίβει στις εργασίες και τις αποφάσεις του Πανορθόδοξου Συνεδρίου της Κωνσταντινούπολης του 1923. H Εκκλησία της Κωνσταντινούπολης προσκάλεσε τα πρεσβυγενή Πατριαρχεία να ασχοληθούν με την επίλυση των εσωτερικών εκκλησιαστικών ζητημάτων που διατάρασσαν την ενότητά της. Το Πανορθόδοξο Συνέδριο επελήφθη θεμάτων, τα οποία είχαν τεθεί και στο παρελθόν από την αλληλογραφία του Ιωακείμ Γˈ (1902-1904) με σημαντικότερα εξ αυτών τη μεταρρύθμιση του ημερολογίου, το ζήτημα της ενδυμασίας των κληρικών, τα κωλύματα σχετικά με το γάμο, το ζήτημα του δευτέρου γάμου των εν χηρεία διατελούντων κληρικών, το ζήτημα της ενδεχόμενης ύπαρξης προτεραιότητας μεταξύ των μυστηρίων του γάμου και της ιεροσύνης και το ζήτημα του διωγμού του Ρώσου Πατριάρχη Τύχωνα. This dissertation focuses on the work and decisions of the Pan-Orthodox Congress of Constantinople of 1923. The Church of Constantinople invited the three historic Patriarchates to deal with the resolution of internal ecclesiastical issues that disrupted its unity. The Pan-Orthodox Congress addressed issues that had been raised in the past by the correspondence of Joachim III (1902-1904), the most important of which were the reform of the calendar, the issue of clerical attire, the impediments related to marriage, the issue of the second marriage of the widowed clergy, the question of the possible existence of a priority between the sacraments of marriage and the priesthood and the question of the persecution of the Russian Patriarch Tychon.
