Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία συγκεντρώνει και εξετάζει τα πραγματολογικά στοιχεία της δημώδους μυθιστορίας Φλώριος και Πλατσιαφλώρα (=Φλώριος) που παραδίδεται σε δύο χειρόγραφα, στο British Library Additional 8241 και τον Vindobonensis theologicus graecus 244. Η μυθιστορία αξιοποιεί και διασκευάζει τον υστερομεσαιωνικό ευρωπαϊκό μύθο του Floire και της Blancheflor. Για τον λόγο αυτόν υιοθετείται η συγκριτολογική διερεύνηση των πραγματολογικών στοιχείων που παραδίδονται στον Φλώριο και σε ορισμένες προγενέστερές του ευρωπαϊκές διασκευές (Le Conte de Floire et Blancheflor, Le Roman de Floire et Blancheflor, Crónica de Flores y Blancaflor, Il Cantare di Fiorio e Biancifiore). Η μελέτη συμβάλλει στη ανάδειξη της σχέσης του Φλώριου με τις υπόλοιπες ευρωπαϊκές εκδοχές, στον προσδιορισμό του πολιτισμικού περιβάλλοντος σύνθεσής του και στην – κατά προσέγγιση – χρονολόγησή του. The present thesis deals with the medieval greek vernacular romance Florios and Platziaflora which is delivered in two manuscripts (British Library Additional 8241, Vindobonensis theologicus graecus 244) and which is thought to have been an adaptation of a western european romance. The aim is to discuss the factual elements and some interpretative issues of Florios by comparing it to the other european versions (Le Conte de Floire et Blancheflor, Crónica de Flores y Blancaflor, Il Cantare di Fiorio e Biancifiore). Some convergences and discrepancies between the two greek mss are also investigated. (EN)
