Η Εικασία Περιορισμού του Stein είναι ένα από τα διασημότερα ανοιχτά προβλήματα της Αρμονικής Ανάλυσης. Διατυπώθηκε από τον Stein το 1967. Αφού διατυπώσουμε το πρόβλημα στις n διαστάσεις και αποδείξουμε αναγκαίες συνθήκες για την ισχύ του, αποδεικνύουμε την ισχύ της Εικασίας στις 2 διαστάσεις. Στη συνέχεια μελετάμε την Εικασία Περιορισμού στις 3 διαστάσεις και στις περισσότερες από 4 διαστάσεις ξεχωριστά. (EL)
Stein's Restriction Conjecture is one of the most famous open problems in Harmonic Analysis. It was formulated by Stein in 1967. We begin by stating the problem in n dimensions and proving the Conjecture in 2 dimensions. Then we stude the Restriction Conjecture in 3 and more than 4 dimensions separately. (EN)
