Αυτή η έρευνα αποτελεί μια Διπλωματική Εργασία Μεταπτυχιακού Επιπέδου. Η μελέτη αυτη εξετάζει την Εξ Όψεως Διερμηνεία ως εργαλείο επαγγελματικής και παιδαγωγικής χρήσης. Καταρχάς, προσπαθεί να παρέχει μια σαφή διάκριση μεταξύ Εξ Όψεως Διερμηνείας και Εξ Όψεως Μεταφρασης. Παρέχει σχετική βιβλιογραφία για να ερευνήσει ποιο είδος διερμηνν χρησιμοποιεί περισσότερο τη Εξ Όψεως Διερμηνεία. Έτσι, παρουσιάζονται πολλές πτυχές της κοινοτικής διερμηνείας και της διερμηνείας συνεδρίων. Ο ρόλος της Εξ Όψεως Διερμηνείας στις Σπουδές Μετάφρασης και Διερμηνείας αποτελεί σημαντικό μέρος αυτής της έρευνας. Συνεπώς, προσπαθούμε να παρουσιάσουμε στόχους που θα μπορούσαν να ληφθούν υπόψη στον σχεδιασμό ενός προγράμματος Μετάφρασης και Διερμηνείας, που περιλαμβάνει Εξ Όψεως Διερμηνεία. Για τους σκοπούς της έρευνας, καταρτίστηκαν ερωτηματολόγια προκειμένου να εξαχθούν δεδομένα που, σε συνδυασμό με την υπάρχουσα βιβλιογραφία, θα συμβάλουν στην παροχή περαιτέρω εισηγήσεων σε αυτό το θέμα. Τα ερωτηματολόγια διανεμήθηκαν σε επαγγελματίες Μετάφρασης και Διερμηνείας. Η σχεδίαση και οι απαντήσεις συζητούνται εκτενώς. Τέλος, η εργασία φτάνει σε συμπεράσματα που στοχεύουν στην παροχή εισηγήσεων και σε ένα βήμα για περαιτέρω έρευνα. (EL)
This paper constitutes a MA thesis. The study investigates Sight Interpreting (StI) as a professional and pedagogical tool. First of all, it attempts to provide a clear distinction between Sight Interpreting (StI) and Sight Translation (ST). It provides relevant Literature in order to research which kind of interpreters utilizes StI more frequently. Thus, many aspects of community interpreting and conference interpreting are presented. The role of StI in Translation and Interpreting (T&I) Studies is a significant part of this research. Consequently, we attempt to provide data that could be considered in the design of a T&I Program, which includes StI. For the purpose of the research, questionnaires have been designed in order to extract data which, combined with existing Literature, will contribute to providing further insights on this topic. Questionnaires were distributed to T&I professionals; the design and the responses are exhaustively discussed. Lastly, the paper reaches to conclusion that aim to provide insights and a step for further research. (EN)
