This thesis is an attempt to bring together Classical Studies and Automated (computer-based) Authorship Attribution, to generate an interdisciplinary perspective. The two texts of disputed authorship in the Aeschylean corpus, "Prometheus Bound" and the exodοs of "Seven Against Thebes," are the focal point of this research, through which we seek to give a mathematical solution to a non-mathematical problem.
Στην παρούσα μελέτη εξετάζεται το ζήτημα της πατρότητας του «Προμηθέα Δεσμώτη» και της εξόδου των «Επτά επί Θήβας», κειμένων τα οποία παραδοσιακά αποδίδονται στον Αισχύλο. Το μεθοδολογικό πλαίσιο εντός του οποίου τίθεται η ανάλυση είναι αυτό της στατιστικής/υπολογιστικής υφολογίας (υφομετρίας), ενώ παράλληλα, προς την ίδια κατεύθυνση, εξετάζονται και άλλα στοιχεία του ύφους (με την ευρύτερη και τη στενότερη έννοια) των εν λόγω κειμένων.
