Η παρούσα διατριβή πραγματεύεται τη λειτουργία του λαϊκού πολιτισμού στο λογοτεχνικό έργο της Ζ.Ζ. Εφαρμόζοντας ως μεθοδολογικό εργαλείο μια μορφή της κριτικής ανάλυσης λόγου (Critical Discourse Analysis), την κοινωνιογλωσσολογική (Sociolinguistics) προσέγγιση του N. Fairclough, η εργασία εντάσσεται στη γενικότερη γλωσσική στροφή (linguistic turn) των κοινωνικών επιστημών, δηλαδή στη μελέτη του ρόλου της γλώσσας ως μέσου συγκρότησης της σύγχρονης κοινωνικής πραγματικότητας. Η διατριβή είναι διαρθρωμένη σε τέσσερα κεφάλαια. Αρχικά εξετάζει το ρόλο του γενέθλιου τόπου της Ζ.Ζ. στη σύνθεση του έργου και στη συνέχεια επικεντρώνεται γύρω από τη σύζευξη του έρωτα με το θάνατο καθώς και το θέμα του θανάτου και της μεταφυσικής ανησυχίας, θέματα τα οποία απασχολούν τη συγγραφέα σε κάθε της έργο. Αποδεικνύεται η γόνιμη αφομοίωση της λαϊκής παράδοσης σε όλο το έργο που οδηγεί στην ανανέωση της επώνυμης λογοτεχνικής δημιουργίας. Έτσι η διατριβή έρχεται να συμβάλλει στο διάλογο μεταξύ της επιστήμης της Λαογραφίας και της λογοτεχνίας.
This dissertation deals with the function of folk culture in the literary work of Z.Z. Applying as a methodological tool a form of Critical Discourse Analysis, the Sociolinguistics approach of N. Fairclough, this paper is part of the linguistic turn of the social sciences, namely the study of the role of language as a means of building contemporary social reality. The dissertation is structured in four chapters. It first examines the role of ZZ's birthplace in the composition of the whole work and then focuses on the combination of love with death and at the end of the theme of death and metaphysical concern, issues that concern the writer in each of her work. It demonstrates the fertile integration of folk tradition throughout the work that leads to the renewal of the branded literary creation. Thus the dissertation contributes to the dialogue between the science of folklore and literature.
