Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας είναι η διερεύνηση της έννοιας του παράδοξου σώματος. Αφορμή για την ανάληψη της συγκεκριμένης έρευνας υπήρξε η διαπίστωση ότι τόσο στην ελληνιστική ποίηση όσο και μέσα στο κείμενο του De rerum natura παρατηρούνται μία σειρά από καινοφανείς και ριζοσπαστικές απόψεις για το μυθολογικό και το ανθρώπινο σώμα, απόψεις που ισορροπούν λεπτά ανάμεσα στην εκλογίκευση και την παραδοξότητα.
The aim of this research is to explore the concept of the paradoxical body. The reason for undertaking this research was the ascertainment that in both the Hellenistic poetry as well as the text of De rerum natura, a number of novel and radical views regarding the mythological and human body can be observed, views that delicately balance between the rationalization and strangeness.
