Harmonic maps, roughly speaking, are the critical points of the Dirichlet integral and generalizations of the harmonic functions and geodesics. Using solutions of the elliptic sinh-Gordon, we construct new examples of harmonic maps from a surface to a hyperbolic surface. In this Thesis, we present solutions of the elliptic sinh-Gordon with the property of functionally separation and a Baecklund transformation. Moreover, we study a generalised sinh-Gordon, with whom we study four differential equations, the hyperbolic sine-Gordon and sinh-Gordon and the elliptic analogous. We present a classification of the solutions with the property of functionally separation. Finally, using the Hirota method, we construct its soliton solutions.
Ως αρμονικές απεικονίσεις ορίζουμε τα κρίσιμα σημεία του ολοκληρώματος Dirichlet και αποτελούν γενίκευση των αρμονικών συναρτήσεων και των γεωδαισιακών. Με την χρήση των λύσεων της ελλειπτικής sinh-Gordon, μπορούμε να κατασκευάζουμε, τοπικά, παραδείγματα αρμονικών απεικονίσεων απο μία επιφάνεια Riemann σε μία υπερβολική επιφάνεια. Στην παρούσα διατριβή θα περιγράψουμε οικογένειες λύσεων της ελλειπτικής sinh-Gordon με την χρήση της μεθόδου χωρισμού μεταβλητών και με την χρήση ενός μετασχηματισμού Baecklund. Επιπλέον θα μελετήσουμε μια γενικευμένη sinh-Gordon, μέσω της οποίας μελετούμε ουσιαστικά τέσσερις διαφορικές εξισώσεις τις υπερβολικές sine-Gordon και sinh-Gordon και τις αντίστοιχες ελλειπτικές. Θα παρουσιάσουμε την κατηγοροποίηση των λύσεων με την ιδιότητα του συναρτησιακού χωρισμού. Τέλος, με την χρήση της μεθόδου Hirota, θα κατασκευάσουμε soliton λύσεις αυτής.
