Ecotherapy is an emerging approach to improving mental and physical health, particularly for caregivers who bear the significant psychological and physical burden of long-term care for individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities. Engagement with nature and activities such as gardening and walking can reduce stress, enhance mood, and provide emotional relief. Integrating ecotherapy into healthcare systems can support caregivers’ mental well-being and improve their quality of life. Policies promoting the use of nature as a tool for mental health care are crucial for preventing burnout and strengthening caregivers’ resilience. This study explores the connection between ecotherapy and caregivers' well-being, emphasizing its potential role in healthcare strategies to reduce stress and foster mental health.
