Manolis Balaskas is one of the most important performers and instrument maker of Karpathian lyra. In this video he talks about the making of Karpathian lyra, whilst his grandson is playing Karpathian tunes in his grandfathers instrument. The one he made for the Department of School of Music Studies of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. ΑΠΘ.
Ο Μανόλης Μπαλάσκας συγκαταλέγεται στους πιο σημαντικούς ερμηνευτές και κατασκευαστές της Καρπαθιώτικης λύρας. Στο βίντεο μιλά για την κατασκευή του οργάνου, ενώ ο εγγονός του παίζει Καρπαθιώτικους σκοπούς στο όργανο που ο παππούς του κατασκεύασε για το Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του ΑΠΘ. (EL)
