Στην παρούσα εργασία γίνεται σφαιρική παρουσίαση της Ωραίας Ελένης στον Όμηρο (Ιλιάδα και Οδύσσεια), την Λυρική ποίηση (Σαπφώ, Στησίχορος, Ίβυκος, Αλκαίος) το δράμα (Ευριπίδη Ελένη και Τρωάδες) και τη Ρητορική (Γοργίας, Ισοκράτης). Εξετάζονται αναλυτικά ζητήματα όπως η ομορφιά της και η ευθύνη της για τον Τρωικό πόλεμο, ενώ παρουσιάζονται αναλυτικά στοιχεία τα οποία υποστηρίζουν την αληθινή ή φανταστική της υπόσταση. (EL)
This project examines thoroughly Beautiful Helen in Homer (Iliad and Odyssey), Lyric Poetry (Sappho, Stecichoros, , Ibycus, Alcaeus), drama ( Euripides Helen and Troades) and Rhetoric ( Gorgias, Isocrates). It also examines in detail topics like her beauty and her responsibility for the war of Troy. Finally it presents clues for her real or imaginative character. (EL)
