Η παρούσα έρευνα μελετά τις αντιλήψεις των εφήβων μαθητών για διαστάσεις της φιλίας και συγκρίνει τα δεδομένα από γηγενείς μαθητές και μαθητές με διαφορετικό πολιτισμικό υπόβαθρο. Το δείγμα αποτέλεσαν 976 μαθητές και μαθήτριες δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης Γυμνασίου και Λυκείου. Οι συμμετέχοντες συμπλήρωσαν το ερωτηματολόγιο για τις αντιλήψεις τους για την φιλία (Mendelson & Aboud, 2014). Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι υπάρχουν στατιστικά σημαντικές διαφορές μεταξύ των μαθητών με διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά προφίλ. Τα ευρήματα αναδεικνύουν τη σημασία της φιλίας για την κοινωνική προσαρμογή των μαθητών καθώς και την ανάγκη περαιτέρω έρευνας αναφορικά με άλλους παράγοντες που προβλέπουν την ποιότητα φιλίας των εφήβων. The present study examines the perceptions of adolescent students regarding friendship and compares data between native students and students with different cultural backgrounds. The sample consisted of 976 secondary education students from Junior High School and High School. Participants completed self-report questionnaires on the quality of their friendships (Mendelson & Aboud, 2014). The results indicated statistically significant differences among students who have different cultural profiles. The findings highlight the importance of friendship for the social adaptation of students and underscore the need for further research on other factors predicting the quality of children's friendships.
