Στα πλαίσια της παρούσας εργασίας εξετάζεται το ζήτημα της σύμβασης εργασίας ορισμένου χρόνου υπό την ελληνική και ευρωπαϊκή νομοθεσία, και συγκεκριμένα το ζήτημα των προϋποθέσεων που θέτει ο νόμος, ώστε η σύναψη σύμβασης εργασίας ορισμένου χρόνου να είναι νόμιμη, των συνεπειών που προβλέπονται, σε περίπτωση που δεν έχουν τηρηθεί οι προϋποθέσεις για σύναψη σύμβασης εργασίας γενικά και για σύναψη σύμβασης εργασίας ορισμένου χρόνου ειδικότερα, καθώς επίσης το ζήτημα της ελευθερίας για σύναψη σύμβασης εργασίας ορισμένου χρόνου, των περιορισμών που θέτει ο νόμος στην ελευθερία αυτή και των συνεπειών που επιφέρει η παραβίαση των περιορισμών αυτών.

Ιn the context of this work, the issue of a limited period labour contract under greek and european legislation is being examined, namely the question of the conditions set by law in order for the conclusion of a labour contract of limited period to be lawful, and the consequences envisaged in both the cases in which conditions for the conclusion of a labour contract in general and of a limited period labour contract in particular are not met, as well as the question of freedom to conclude limited period labour contracts, the restrictions on that freedom prescribed by law and the consequences of the violation of such restrictions.
