This article presents a synthesis of what literary, epigraphic, archaeological, and numismatic sources reveal about the cults and sanctuaries of ancient Krannon. What myths and legends are associated with the city’s foundation and history? Which deities were definitively or possibly worshipped there? Do any archaeological remains of sanctuaries exist within the city or its territory? And finally, can we identify Krannon’s patron deity? While many of these deities are found throughout Greece, Krannon’s pantheon shows distinctly Thessalian characteristics. (EN)

Cet article propose une synthèse sur ce que les sources littéraires, épigraphiques, archéologiques et numismatiques nous permettent de savoir sur les cultes et les sanctuaires de l’antique Crannon. Quels sont les mythes et légendes reliés à la fondation ou à l’histoire de la cité ? Quelles sont les di- vinités dont le culte paraît assuré ou simplement possible ? Possédons-nous les vestiges archéologiques de sanctuaires dans la cité ou sur son territoire ? Pouvons-nous, en n, connaître l’identité de la divinité poliade de Crannon ? Si nombre de ces divinités se retrouvent ailleurs en Grèce, le panthéon de Cran- non a un caractère thessalien très marqué. (FR)
